*A message from Andy Curran*
2018 has been a remarkably successful year for us, which we can all be incredibly proud of. With some huge wins, we’ve delivered strong financials, digitised and simplified our customer experience, transformed engagement and kept the business safe. We achieved all of this within a very challenging environment, and I wanted to extend my personal thanks to each one of you.
Your leaders will have shared the brilliant successes within your individual areas, so please take some time to reflect on the progress that we couldn't have made without you. I was delighted with our 82% Voice of Aviva engagement score, but recognise there is still lots to do to make this the best place to work.
I've been particularly proud of our charitable work and would love to give even more back to the community in 2019. We all have 21 hours to volunteer every year, so it would be great if you could think about how your team can get involved to make a difference next year.
I'm on my way home to spend some time with my family and, whatever your plans are for the festive period, enjoy the well-deserved break so we're ready for an even more unbelievable 2019.
