My initial observation coming into Marketing was WOW! I've been blown away by the breadth of the teams and work, which span far beyond my previously blinkered view of the world of Marketing.

In November, we introduced our first ‘Purposeful Move’. Sadie Gill, Bid Manager within Workplace Savings and Retirement, took a six-month secondment into Marketing to help design our member experience and deliver New Business collateral. It was completely new to Sadie, so a great chance for her to learn different skills and share experience from her Sales background.

Everyone around me has been so supportive, especially my line managers, who have instilled such confidence in me to make this leap. It's a great way to cross share skills, experience, knowledge, whilst dipping my toe into something outside of my comfort zone and adding value to my new colleagues. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been welcomed so warmly by everyone and am grateful to the business for creating this initiative.
